The Board has the responsibility of informing us, the customers, about what it is doing in the district. So, shouldn't you know...

• What decisions they are making with your money at the board meetings? There are no agendas or minutes on their web site.
• What they're really spending your money on? A detailed budget is not on their web site.
• About the 1.6 million gallons of sewage spills since 2001? Nothing on their web site and hardly anything in the papers.

The SMWD's policy regarding informing their customers needs to be revised. Gary Kephart will work with the Board to do so.
